Ideal setting is 50 to 55 degrees in summer and 60 to 65 degrees in winter. The setting should never be lower than 50 degrees as this will promote bacterial growth in the water.
Did you know, all new geysers fitted have a B class rating, which means that is has a 50mm insulation layer around the tank. This keeps your hot water reserve hot for a lot longer, therefore saving electricity.
